Robert A. Grovenstein, PhD, Operating Partner

Rob Grovenstein joined JLB Partners as an Operating Partner in June of 2007 and is responsible for all development underwriting. During his career, Mr. Grovenstein has facilitated the closing of 25 projects totaling over 7,000 units with a combined capitalization of $1.5 billion.

Prior to joining JLB Partners, Mr. Grovenstein served in the same role for the Eastern Division of Fairfield Residential and also taught graduate real estate courses at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before moving back to Fort Worth in 2004, Mr. Grovenstein served two years as Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut where he taught Real Estate Investments & Real Estate Finance. Mr. Grovenstein holds a PhD of Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, an MS in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas.
