Scott Sherwood, Development Partner - Texas

Mr. Sherwood leads JLB’s development activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Houston markets. Scott has been involved in the acquisition and development of almost 9,000 units of conventional garden apartments, student housing communities and high density/mixed‐use developments with total development cost in excess of $925 million. In addition to development, he has executed land and other improved asset acquisitions of over $100 million.

Before joining JLB Partners, Mr. Sherwood was Vice President of Development for the Texas Division of Fairfield Residential. Mr. Sherwood has also worked in the financial securities industry and with a commercial tenant representation real estate firm. Mr. Sherwood holds a BBA in Management and a Master of Finance in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. Mr. Sherwood also holds a Texas Real Estate Broker License.
