Mr. Sherwood leads JLB’s development activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston markets. Mr. Sherwood’s experience includes the land acquisition and development of over 16,000 units of luxury apartments homes, student housing residences and high density/mixed use communities with total development cost in excess of $2.2 billion. In addition to development, he has executed land and other improved asset acquisitions of over $100 million. 

Before joining JLB Partners, Mr. Sherwood was Vice President of Development for the Texas Division of Fairfield Residential, LLC. Mr. Sherwood has also worked in the financial securities sector and in the commercial tenant representation industry. Mr. Sherwood holds a BBA in Management and a Master of Finance in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. Mr. Sherwood also holds a Texas Real Estate Broker License.
